Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with hands-on expertise in JIRA Administration to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will combine strong DevOps skills with the ability to configure, manage, and optimize JIRA for improved team collaboration and process automation.
Key Responsibilities
- JIRA Administration:
- Manage, configure, and customize JIRA instances to meet organizational requirements.
- Create and manage workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, and custom fields.
- Troubleshoot and resolve JIRA-related issues and ensure uptime.
- Integrate JIRA with other tools such as Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc.
- DevOps Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployments.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Monitor and manage cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Optimize system performance, manage scalability, and ensure infrastructure security.
- Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Collaboration & Support:
- Work closely with development teams to streamline workflows and resolve bottlenecks.
- Provide support to teams using JIRA and DevOps tools, offering training as needed.
- Ensure adherence to DevOps and agile best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- JIRA Expertise:
- Proven experience as a JIRA Administrator, including customization and integration with other tools.
- DevOps Skills:
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git).
- Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Other Skills:
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with Atlassian Marketplace apps like ScriptRunner.
